Attending Reunions

Attending a reunion can present psychological, financial, and logistical problems. That is clearly not the intent of reunions but it happens.

True friendship is like sound health; the value of it is seldom known until it is lost.

Recently, I was taken aback trying to come up with the words to honor all of the classmates we have lost. I can’t effectively do this, I thought. What I did know in my heart was... I can still go back in time, I can tell you exactly where I was when we lost someone. Some more clearly than others of course, but our classmates stay with me even now.

I have been thinking about regrets recently.  I have made some asinine choices my forty-year-old self wouldn’t dream of doing. I am not sure if it is the age that makes me wiser or life experiences. When you are in your 20s and 30s, it’s easy to feel invincible. The choices I made no matter how ill-advised or potentially dangerous, never seemed to have any long-term consequences. Class of 1994 Blog

I am a planner. It’s just a part of my nature ask my friends, their children, or significant others. I am extra, its often an aquired taste. I like to be involved from the outside, and organize things. It makes it easier to engage at a distance. So it stands to reason I would be one of “those” people.
